CLOVIS D. JANDREAU
1925 - 2012
FORT KENT and ST. FRANCIS - Clovis D. Jandreau, 86, passed away June 15, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 9, 1925 at Castonguay Settlement. He was the son of Dedime and Annie (Castonguay) Jandreau. He worked for the Maine Forest Service for 22 years. Prior to that he was a logger in the Maine woods. He was an avid canoeist, born and brought up on the St. John River. He loved to hunt, fish, snowmobile, and go four-wheeling in the beautiful Northern Maine woods. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Laurine Morin Jandreau, his daughter, Linda and husband Robert Follansbee of South Portland, Pam Jandreau and Herman Dubois of Fort Kent, and Wendy Jandreau of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Renee Harvey of Presque Isle, Julia Schafer of Old Orchard Beach, Jake Harvey of St. Francis, and Fredrick Follansbee of Portland; two great-grandchildren, Lexie Taylor Harvey and Christopher Weand, and one sister Hilda Guerrette. In addition to both his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Norman Jandreau. Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 18 and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Daigle Funeral Home in Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Charles Catholic Church in St. Francis. Committal service followed in the parish cemetery. Donations may be sent to Edgar J.
