FRENCHVILLE - Priscilla B. Franck, 95, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2012. She began her life on Dec. 24, 1916 in Frenchville, a daughter to the late Frankie and Edith (Michaud) Franck. She is survived by her sister, Sr. Marie (Carmel) Franck of Sound Beach, N.Y. Priscilla was predeceased by her siblings, Marie-Estelle Franck, Lucien Franck, Sr. Marie-Ange Franck, Rev. Marc Franck, Juliette Turgeon, Pauline Gow, Sr. Alice-Evangeline Franck, Antonio Franck, Philip Franck, and Alfred Franck. Ms. Franck resided in Frenchville her entire life with her extended family, her beloved brother Phil and his devoted wife Dora Franck, along with their eight children. She worked for 43 years at the Fraser Paper Mill in Madawaska, retiring to a leisurely life, sharing memorable time with her much-loved family. Priscilla was “Ma Tante” to her 16 nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity to those less fortunate and her religious faith. Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 27 and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28 at St. Luce Catholic Church in Frenchville with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Interment will be at the St. Luce Parish cemetery. The Franck family invites friends and family members to join in a time of memorial fellowship at the Community Center following the burial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
