Aug. 8 edition: FORT KENT – Coming off his first first-place finish on the ACT tour two weekends ago, 18-year-old Austin Theriault drove to his fifth straight top-10 finish at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, Mass. on Saturday, Aug. 4.

Theriault drove the number 18 car in his debut for Mulkern Racing, taking a weekend off from the ACT tour to race in the event.

Theriault ran third for most of the race until losing complete power steering after lap 100. Theriault powered through and managed to stay with the pack to get the sixth-place finish.

He is in second place in the ACT Late Model Tour 2012 points race, just 16 points behind Wayne Helliwell, Jr.
