VAN BUREN - Peter Carbonneau of Van Buren, who died April 8 while working as a volunteer paramedic, was remembered by friends, family and coworkers in a funeral procession Thursday, April 12. Carbonneau was a lifelong volunteer as an emergency medical technician, paramedic, and firefirefighter for Van Buren. He was also former member and past chairman of the SAD 24 school board, a member of the Van Buren Housing Authority, member and past chairman of the Van Buren Light and Power District, and a trustee of the Van Buren Hospital District. He was an Aroostook County Bail Commissioner for 20 years.
