EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE: ST. AGATHA - Abbie Lerman, 6, stands with beautician Connie Theriault and holds up her ponytail after having her hair recently cut in Fort Kent to donate to Locks of Love. Abbie and her sister Ava Lerman, 4, of St. Agatha both donated their hair to the organization that helps create wigs and hair pieces for people going through illnesses. Each girl donated 11 inches and had their haircuts at Shear Perfection. Theriault, owner and beautician, cut Abbie's hair and Felicia Moss, beautician, cut Ava's hair. Ava never had her hair cut before, and was afraid at first, her mother said. They both plan to let their hair grow out again so they can donate again.
