ONLINE FIRST: HAMLIN - The Maine Potato Board will be honoring the Rudy and Dinah Parent family of Hamlin, as its 2012 Farm Family of the Year at the annual industry dinner this evening, Friday, July 20. Through seven generations, the family has farmed land along the St. John River. Rudy, here with Dinah, said he is now semi-retired, with his oldest son Jamie currently managing the family farm, which is in its 166th year.
