Sgt. Tim York confirmed on Monday, July 23 that investigators are continuing their work, but he declined to comment any further on case.
Firefighters from three different communities responded to the early morning blaze on Route 1 in mid-March. At that time Gary Campbell, chief of the Grand Isle department said that the fire seemed to have started in the basement, which had limited access, making the fire difficult to attack.
Lee Beaulieu and Laurie Gregory were the owners of the business. No one was injured in the fire. The site remains fenced in and cordoned off.
